Yalunda (Environmental Association 4.1.9)

location map showing Yalunda (Environmental Association 4.1.9)

Low hills derived from the dissection of a former lateritic plateau. There is a cover of grassland and open parkland used for winter cereal cultivation and grazing livestock, with isolated remnants of native woodlands used for extensive livestock grazing.

The valley floors and adjacent slopes provide foreground and middleground perspective views and, locally, enclosed views. The crest provide middleground panoramic views within the association and background panoramic views over adjacent associations. Woodland remnants are local features.
