An undulating plain on partly calcreted alluvium. Most of natural vegetation has been replaced by a cultural grassland used for cereal cultivation and livestock grazing, but some remnants of mallee open scrub remain.

Foreground and middleground panoramic views have blocks of mallee remnants as dominating features. Towards the east the views extend over the salt lakes of association 4.1.20.
