location map showing Tintinara (Environmental Association 2.2.8)

An extensive calcarenite plain veneered with sand and with discontinuous low sand and calcarenite dunes or with very large poorly drained depressions. The natural vegetation of open forest, heath and mallee, has mainly been cleared to open parkland and grassland. The pasture ground story is grazed by beef cattle and sheep.

The views of the foreground and middleground panoramas feature remnants of native vegetation and swamps fringed with swamp paperbacks.
