Angle Rock (Environmental Association 1.4.5)

location map showing Angle Rock (Environmental Association 1.4.5)

An interdunal plain with occasional low narrow dune ridges and isolated low granite outcrops. No integrated drainage occurs within the association. The dominant vegetative cover of open parkland with pasture understory is used for grazing beef cattle and coarse wool sheep, but there are scattered remnants of native vegetation. Near Padthaway there is an expanding area of vineyards.

The calcarenite ridges of adjacent associations form backdrops to foreground and middleground panoramic views. Scattered low granite outcrops constitute local features.
