Avoid Bay (Environmental Association 4.1.2)
A sandy plain with numerous dunes, and cliffs along the coat. The plain is covered with heath and low shrubland. The inner shoreline is used for recreation but the remainder has no economic use.
This association offers a large variety of panoramic views over the ocean and bays, with the coastal hills in the background. Foreground enclosed views prevail in the swales. The dynamics of dune development enhance the visual quality of the scenery.
