location map showing Bandon (Environmental Association 2.4.2)

An undulating plain on extensive sheets of calcrete overlain by a series of easterly trending sand dunes which have been partly cleared to a mallee parkland. Elsewhere the vegetative cover is a cultural grassland. Cereal cultivation and livestock grazing occur throughout the area.

The views are middleground panoramas with local features of mallee remnants and bare dunecrests. Locally, the mallee verges created perspective views along roads.
