A calcreted plain with longitudinal dunes, and occasional low rises on outcropping bedrock or laterite. Much of this association has a cover of cultural grassland used for rotation cereal cultivation and livestock grazing. The remainder retains a cover of open mallee scrub used for extensive livestock grazing.
