A gently undulating plain with narrow easterly trending depressions and isolated salt lakes. Most mallee vegetation has been replaced by introduced grasslands used for livestock grazing.

Lakes and depressions form local features in middleground panoramic views which are backed in the south and south-west by association 4.1.13.
