An undulating calcrete plain with dunes and depressions, rising above the surrounding associations. The plain has been cleared to an open parkland used for both grazing and cereal production.

Panoramic views towards the Murray River and Lake Alexandrina are available from high rises in the west. Other views are middleground panoramas with local features of remnant mallee broombush.
