Mt. Wilson (Environmental Association 3.2.11)

location map showing Mt. Wilson (Environmental Association 3.2.11)

Steep ridges and hills on interbedded metasediments and limestone, with beaches or coastal cliffs. There is a cover of open parkland with an understory of sown pasture and some cereal cropland.

Due to the elevated topography views are background panoramas overlooking adjacent associations or in the west, Gulf St. Vincent. The foreground is usually dominated by grassy, rounded hill crests and frequently steep, rocky sideslopes. Where valleys cross the association the views are perspective and tend towards enclosed in winding sections.
